About Property Hub Property Hub are a UK property investment service helping thousands of people to change their lives through property. Via The Property Podcast, Property Hub's YouTube channel and weekly newsletter (Property Pulse) they provide free information about property investment without overcomplicating matters for the sake of it, helping people to understand what property can do for them. In July 2025, Property Hub and their network came together to raise over £40,000 (including £19,500 of match funds from Property Hub) for the Kyeni Kya Ikena Mwaki community (pictured above) in southeast Kenya to build a sand dam. Sand Dams Worldwide would to thank all those from Property Hub and their network for their generous donations. About Kyeni Kya Ikena Mwaki and their sand dam Kyeni Kya Ikena Mwaki are a community of farmers in southeast Kenya currently struggling to access enough water to farm their land and produce enough food to eat, store and sell. The funds raised by Property Hub's network will enable the community to build a sand dam in late 2025, which will go on to provide them with lifelong, nearby access to clean water. This water, along with climate-smart agriculture training provided by our partners in Kenya, the Africa Sand Dam Foundation, will empower the community to restore and regreen their land, building climate resilience and providing food security for generations to come. The time saved from community members having to walk long distances to collect water (often from contaminated sources) will also mean they will have more time to farm, work, and for children to go to school and play. "The presence of a sand dam in my community will ensure water availability throughout the year, restoring hope in a better future for me and my family... it will reduce the long hours spent fetching water, and create opportunities for farming and development."Mary David, Chairlady of Kyeni Kya Ikena Mwaki community, Kenya.
