I am volunteering with the Sand Dam project in Kenya in September 2026. There will be a lot of shovelling, heavy lifting and sweaty filthy filled days, but the rewards will be worth it all. By doing this I will be contributing to creating a facility that will have a huge potential to raise the prospects of the younger generation whilst enabling their parents to generate income to invest in their children. This will also contribute to the conservation of the environment and the general day to day living standards of this community. The challenge on arrival will be hard work, however I am also challenged beforehand to raise donations for this cause. You will therefore see my fundraising page pop up from now until September.
