Trustee: Ian Richard Hemensley

Ian graduated as a pharmacist from Manchester University in 1997 and returned to the Isle of Man a couple of years later to take over the family pharmacy business. In 2005 Ian became the island's first non-medical prescriber and he is currently the Chief Operations Officer of the IOM Pharmacy Association. In 2008, Ian went on a sand dam expedition with his cousin Simon Maddrell (Sand Dams Worldwide's founder and former Executive Director) and has been involved as a trustee of SDW IOM since its inception. He is pleased and proud to still be involved and to have witnessed how the charity has grown and developed over the years and made such a positive difference to the lives of so many people.
