I’m fundraising to support Sand Dams Worldwide, an organisation that helps communities in some of the driest regions get reliable access to clean water and food.

In September 2026, I’ll be travelling to southeast Kenya with Barclays to work alongside a local self-help group and help build a sand dam. These dams are a simple, long-term way of storing water, which can make a real difference to food supply and everyday life in these communities.

Any donations will go towards helping families access safe water, support their livelihoods, and cope with the effects of climate change. Paris Batiste
