I’m fundraising to support Sand Dams Worldwide, the charity behind the Barclays Sand Dam Expedition to Kenya. In September 2026, I’ll be part of a team travelling to Tawa, Kenya, to help build a sand dam alongside the local community. Sand dams are low‑cost, long‑lasting structures that store rainwater and provide clean, safe, accessible water for rural communities — reducing the need for people to walk 4–6 hours each day to collect water and helping to re‑green the landscape.
