Having completed my first expedition in 2024 I have remained in touch with this incredible charity and was compelled to volunteer again for the 2026 expedition.

As far as worthy causes go this rates very highly; we take access to unlimited clean water for granted but for many communities this is not the case.

Sand dams not only provide the community with an all year round source of clean water, they allow for increased food security and income via increased agriculture. It’s also wonderful to see the environment around each dam develop as diverse plantation and wildlife flourish and the water table rises.
