Our most important project yet! The Property Hub community has built a lot – knowledge, portfolios and futures. But now, we’ve the chance to support a truly life-changing project - a sand dam. Right now in Kenya, women and children are walking up to 12 hours a day just to collect water that isn’t safe to drink and often makes them sick. That daily struggle means children are missing school, and parents have no time to invest in agriculture or work, so they are trapped in a situation they have no power to improve. But a sand dam is the starting point that provides an entire community with the infrastructure and resource to transform their own lives. To say thank you, we’re offering a few special perks for those able to make larger donations: Donate £100 and you’ll receive an exclusive Property Hub mug Donate £1,000 or more and you’ll be invited to join Rob Bence and Rob Dix for dinner Donate £2,500 and you’ll be invited to join Rob Bence on a future sand dam expedition to Kenya, to work alongside a community to build a dam that will provide them with lifelong access to clean water. (Please note: the invite doesn’t include travel or accommodation, but the experience will be unforgettable!) These perks are from us at Property Hub, not the charity and are just our way of saying a big thank you for your generosity. Learn more about how sand dams work here: A sand dam will provide the community with lifelong access to clean, safe water. And from there, the ripple effect begins - land is restored, families can farm, children return to school, and the community gets the opportunity to build a healthier, more hopeful future. We’re aiming to raise £39,000 to support the construction of a sand dam for Kenya's Kyeni Kya Ikena Mwaki community, and with the strength of the Property Hub community behind it, we know we can do it. "The presence of a sand dam in my community will ensure water availability throughout the year, restoring hope in a better future for me and my family... it will reduce the long hours spent fetching water, and create opportunities for farming and development."Mary David, Chairlady of Kyeni Kya Ikena Mwaki community, Kenya. This is our most important project yet and we’d love you to be part of it! Note: to help reach the £39,000 target, Property Hub is going to match donations up to £19,500! That means for every £1 you donate, it could be worth £2 - double the donation, double the impact! This sand dam campaign supported by Property Hub is now finished. A big thank you to all who donated! If you missed this campaign, but would still like to make a donation towards a sand dam project, please click here! Manage Cookie Preferences
